as to think this love of farm life can last forever so shes making plans following graduation she hopes to go on to university and major in physical education shes our girl next door born and raised on a property thats been in the family name through four generations sylvia received her elementary educa tion at scott central sandford and joseph gould uxbridge shes a student in grade 13 at uss sylvia admits she enjoys the great outdoors she readily turns her hand to any chores that need doing this willingness to work is undoubtedly appreciated by parents ross and janice risebrough she has a younger sister cindy 15 sylvias proficiency in track and field has made her one of the top high jumpers at uss her best mark is five feet she also enjoys soccer taking on a coaching role this past summer shes a representative on students council for the girls athletic association sylvia is strongly supportive of council president jennifer har ding and vicepresident libby jenkins theyve really got the school going she says sylvia serves as secretary for the uxbridge jr farmers through this organization shes also associated with the ux bridge fair board she ap preciates the friends shes coipe to know sylvia works parttime at nfa- tional sports centre stouffville her family are members in the congregation of sandford united church sylvia readily admits to mixed emotions about graduation its exciting and yet its not i appreciate our close family atmosphere ill be home every weekend she promises eighteenyearold sylvia risebrough of rr 1 uxbridge is the fourth generation on her parents sandford farm following gradua tion from uxbridge secondary school sylvia plans to go on to univer sity in a course related to physical education jim thomas points of interest during
