university peterborough in september shes been an honor student through five years at uss and will receive an ontario scholarship at commencement exercises this fall jim thomas bv jim thomas uxbridge stefanie carlson wants to be a school teacher for as long as she can remember shes had this ambition fulfillment of her dream draws ever closer as she com mences a concurrent education course at trent university peterborough in september shes our girl next door its exciting says stefanie her eyes sparkling with en thusiasm many of her uxbridge friends are also going to trent and this pleases her i certainly wont be alone she notes stefanie already has a solid grounding in her chosen profes sion last summer she worked as a ymca camp counsellor in elgin park she was previously an instructor at the uxbridge optimistsponsored gymnastics club gymnastics remains a favorite sport formerly of rr 1 goodwood stefanie her parents hank and sandra carlson and brother dan moved to uxbridge when she was and a parttime employee at deir electronics uxbridge although shes yet to add golf to her recreation itinerary stefanie participated in a sixhole staff tournament recently and enjoyed it other states stefanie points to her close cir cle of friends as being very im portant in particular beth atkinson someone shes known since grade 5 despite the fact beths going to waterloo univer sity this
