follow us to our cars for a group of stouffvil- ieites the good weekend doesnt begin until late satur day afternoon i count myself as one of the many people who live on the south side of main street be tween hwys 48 and 47 the town has not afforded us the privilege of being able to utilize the two stoplights that have been provided to control traffic saturday is generally prog rammed in terms of shopping for the following week and we spend a good part of the day in our cars the southsiders must sit at the end of their streets until some generous soul allows us to pull out halfway now we must hopefully wait for a good samaritan who understands our plight unfortunately most of the sales barn traffic is compris ed of torontonians who are programmed not to give an inch could the town not move the lights from in front of the iga to market street and pro vide access to main for all re sidents east of the tracks the west side should be con sidered and possibly a third set of lights is the answer i would like to understand the strategy behind the loca tion of the present stoplights hopefully a member of coun cil will publically enlighten me sincerely liz farley obrien avenue stouffville
