wednesday the home side edged aurora 54 with a run in the bottom of the seventh the comefrombehind victory evened the squirts record at one win and one loss uren was a oneman wrecking crew in the early going banging a solo home run and a tworun triple to keep stouffville close but it was his twoout walk in the bottom of the seventh fol lowed by two stolen bases that set the stage for the gamewinning blow joe ireton hit a single that bounced sharply between first and second to score uren stouffvilles ian ellis had stolen home in the 6th inning to tie the game winning pitcher brad cro- zier allowed only one run while striking out four aurora batters in three innings pitched he also came up with two fielding gems in the top of the seventh to keep au rora from mounting any attempt at a scoring threat when graham crowder and crozier were both put out in the seventh it looked like it would be up to uren to ignite the squad when he walked stouffville sup porters felt they had missed their chance because his was the bat needed to engineer a possible vic tory but ireton waited patiently for his pitching allowing uren to advance to third and score easily when ireton connected with the single mike underwood pitched the first four innings for stouffville striking out two and giving up four runs shaun boyd had a run bat ted in and ireton pulled off an un assisted double play when
