students will gaze out the windows with a far away looks in their eyes dream ing of the long hot days of summer with the warmer weather and the arrival of spring comes many other exciting activities floor hockey stouffville dist secondary schools most gruell ing and challenging intramural activity is always close on the heels of spring jocks all over stouffville high are busy selecting their all- important hockey sticks and re molding their mouth guards as the season approaches signups were held this week and judging from the length of the line up its going to be one heck of a season but while spring brings us such fine sports as floor hockey and baseball it also has something to offer to the more gentleatheart romance someone once said in spring a young mans fancy turns to thoughts of love and nowhere is this more evident than sdss this week this week the exchange stu dents from stouffvilles twin town carpentras france ar rived at sdss to the delight of the entire school whether their interests be romantic linguistic or just plain social sdss has welcomed the neighbors from europe in fine fashion with a smile a hug and a handshake friendships have been started and impressions formed that will undoubtedly remain far longer than lessons in french or english classes yes the arrival of spring means many different things to many different people at sdss but the greatest event
