dagmars crosscountry ski director editors mail son thought the party was an open house dear editor as a father of one of the young people who crashed the party on geoffrey crescent stouffville jan 15 id like to offer comment while the gathering initially may have been planned for only a few friends the time date and location was by no means a secret around the high school in fact my son tells me it was the subject of conversation up and down the halls he and his friends consi dered it an open house although he wasnt personally invited generally im told the majority of kids had a good time it was the number of kids that caused the problem it seemed like half the school was there i was told secondly it appears teens around stouffville are lost for something to do on a friday night if theres a dance at the school fine if there isnt theyll seek out any attraction going as a responsible parent i feel very badly about what happened ill do my best to see that it doesnt happen again as the father of a teenage son yourself you well know its not always possible to keep a rein on your kids all the time after this however you can be sure ill be checking on my sons whereabouts every friday night sincerely a concerned father stouffville name withheld upon request crasher expresses regrets dear editor my name is included but im asking you not to print it if you must then dont print my letter you know me and so do many at the high school i attended the party on geoffrey crescent stouffville jan 15 there was a writeup about it on the front page of your newspaper jan 27 i wasnt invited not formally but we thought wed be welcome trouble was everyone thought the same thing and too many turned up everything would have been okay except i think a few brought beer the beer plus the numbers made for a bad scene i really feel sorry for what hap pened i also feel sorry for the hostess she got more than she bargained for i hope her parents will try and understand it wouldnt have been quite so bad if some of us had stayed be hind and cleaned up the mess or even gone back the next day i didnt think about this until later by then it was too late im glad you didnt mention the familys name theyve suffered enough sincerely party crasher stouffville tribune february 3 1988 all our first big event of the new year savings sh9wj in tmsad basedow cufcn wr tro tonomoasp regular
