hospital to uxbridge cottage hospital soon the united church sunday school celebrated white gift sunday on dec 13th on sun day dec 20th the baptist sun day school travelled to elder care home in stouffville where the young choir enjoyed caroll ing each resident was pre- editors mail campaign proceeds doubled dear editor stouffvilles 1987 unicef campaign is over the proceeds from this years sales were almost double that of 1986 three hundred items were sold total proceeds were 2800 i wish to thank the tribune for the publicity provided this very worthwhile project a special thank you to sheila mcleod of the whitchurch- stouffvlle public library and all members of the library staff who were so helpful also my appre ciation to town merchants for wil lingly displaying unicef post ers in their store windows and of course to those residents who sup ported unicef through the purchase of cards and gift items proceeds will make life for chil dren in third world countries saf er and healthier funds are used for immunization clean water and sanitation child nutrition community and familybased ser vices for children formal and nonformal education planning and project support and
