members who under standably become very con cerned over such things leslie ann green and her mother carol of tweed ont spent a couple of days recent ly with her grandparents les and mary mitchell leslie ann was able to give an exciting account of her summer ad ven- tures as a junior forest ranger anthony wijdeven of hol land is enjoying a trip around the world a stopoff point was the home of attending a baptist womens retreat recently at elim lodge peterborough dona tions totalling 1700 were re ceived to help replace a jeep used by the native pastor in angola the last one was des troyed when it struck a land mine the themeof the retreat was family ties it re minded me of a poem in my scrapbook the sticktogether families are happier by far than the brothers and the sis ters who take separate highways are the happiest people living are the wholesome folk who make a circle at the fireside no power on earth can break there are some who seem to fancy that for gladness they must roam for smiles that are the brightest they must wander far from home its the old home roof that shelters all the charm that life can give so remember sister brother if contentment you would win come back into the fireside and be comrade to your kin the zoning is still before the region he says im not sure what the holdup is besides it hav ing to move through proper chan nels principal robinson claims if cleared this fall the school will be ready to make the move in time to open next september were anxious to start and have had very positve feedback from residents in the general area he says
