and a real part of our christian morality as people of the book we are called to be stewards of the good earth god gave to us this is not easy to do in an age of high technology and the success of progress in the form of excit ing new buildings and high tax- yielding residential areas but if we are not careful in our conservation efforts we will fail in our calling to be stewards of all the gifts we are given to use in this life every good farmer knew that you had to treat the soil with re gard for its future productive health it was the ambition of our early settlers to leave the land
