tionship with children on the street she had a way of talking to rather than at children he said he told ofthe kind mothers day act last may when jason rennie brought her a bou quet of flowers in her younger days she was an active member in church young peoples societies and the goodwood drama club she was a beautiful skater mrs porter also enjoyed travelling she suc cessfully passed her drivers test at age eighty although she had no children of her own she was close to her nieces and nephews robert gary and donald beach clarion hood marilyn smith and gloria thompson at the time of her
