p28 weekender april 12 1986 careers in focus more than 400 grade 10 mar kham district high school stu dents are thinking careers this week on wednesday 50 guest speak ers ranging from a bush pilot to a marine biologist came to the school to talk to students about their careers lou goodwin assistant head of guidance explained that the career talks were held in conjunc tion with career week at the school guidance counsellors vi sited history classes throughout the week to speak to students ab out choosing a career the grade 10 students were able to sit in on four halfhour pre sentations on wednesday jobs covered included auto mechanic bank manager travel consultant disc jockey ambulance driver model police officer reporter hairdresser physiotherapist lawyer and musician the idea was to
