cared about peo- pie with those few words public school trustee heather beveridge said alot about the spirit and dedication of the late ruth davidson the remarks came thursday during a special program of remembrance at good wood public school where mrs davidson taught for 10 years until her death from cancer on july 28 she was 57 mrs davidson was highly regarded by fellow teachers and students during her time as a classroom assistant in the schools special education program trustee beveridge spoke of how caring people like the late mrs davidson help keep the durham board of education from bet coming an impersonal bureaucratic machine on behalf of the board she presented a limited edition print of a painting by acclaimed uxbridgebased artist walter campbell the attractive portrait of the historic quaker hill coach house will hang in the schools front foyer also in attendance at the memorial prog ram held in the school auditorium during meet the teacher night were bruce mather
