volleyball teams from 1980 to 1983 ken served as pres ident of the intervarsity christian fel lowship at laurentian university he also assisted as a sunday school teacher at the gormley missionary church following graduation from sdss ken attended ontario bible college in toronto then enrolled at laurentian university sudbury graduating with an honors bachelor of physical and health education degree in 1983 he was named to the universitys deans honor list from 1981 to 1983 ken obtained his ontario teachers certificate and his bachelor of educa tion degree from queens in may 1984 in august of this year he received his ma degree in health education from the university of western ontario lon don ont carolyn is an honors graduate from earl of march secondary school kana- ta ontario in 197879 she was the stu dent councils head girl and student of the year in 1982 carolyn attended the institute of ministry at bradenton florida later enrolling at waterloo university where she obtained her bachelor of arts de gree in honors coop recreation in 1983 carolyn received her bachelor of education degree and her ontario teachers certificate from queens university in 1984 carolyns teacherrelated experi ences are extensive ranging from a cgit director at camp kalalla to com munity recreation planner for the toronto parks recreation commis sion in 197980 she served as a volunteer in a kitchenerwaterloo junior sports program for physically disabled chil dren and a preschool program in structor with the ottawa ymca and ywca in 1981 she was coordinator of the inter- varsity christian fellowship at queens university faculty of education in 1983- 84 like husband ken carolyn is an ex cellent athlete excelling in gymnastics crosscountry track and field soccer and skiing shes
