fame clippers qualify for silver sticks the fame interna tional atom clippers were successful in their efforts to obtain a berth in the silver sticks tournament to be play ed at sarnia on dec 27 travelling to wasaga beach last weekend the clippers showed their paces by winning both their preliminary games and amassing a total of 225 points the highest in the tourney points were awarded on the basis of 3 points for winning a period three points for winning the game plus three points for a shutout making it possible to earn a maximum of 15 points in their opening game against caledon the clippers failed to score in the first period but came back with a four goal salvo in the middle frame nathan brown opened with an unassisted effort followed by mar cus milos and brandon pridham from jay scaife to make it 30 goal of the game came from the caramanico- whitebread combina tion caramanico took the puck endtoend be fore making the perfect pass to whitebread who promptly found the net
