of ottawa and gillian unionville and a brother john of willowdale born at kincardine in 1936 arthur attended millarton public school and kincardine district high school follow ing graduation from ontario agricultural college of the university of toronto in 1958 he served for 26 years in va rious locations and capacities with imperial oil limited of toronto including a period in edmonton from 1972 to 1976 he received a masters de gree in business administra tion from york university in 1970 arthur maintained bis early interest in agriculture and was actively involved in oper ating the
