being underdogs in the championship final stouffville high schools senior volleyball team captured the georgian bay secondary school title by winning their last two games against st theresa back row 1 championships held at midland last thurs day the senior spartans boys volleyball team stun ned pundits and spectators alike by pulling off an unbe- lievable win against the sttheresa crusaders to whom they had already lost twice in the preliminaries to become this years gbssa champions sttheresa ranked fourth in the provincial standings were favorites to win the event it is only the fourth time in twelve years that the senior spartans have won the coveted gbssa crown in roundrobin play the spartans disposed of both woodbridge and parry sound in two straight games barrie eastview in three straight before being outclassed 151 152 by the crusaders the final brought the cru- saders and spartans together for a threegame clu fhanger which will be re- membered for years to come dropping their open er 1115 the spartans rallied to win the second game 15- 13 before clinching the title 1614 it was a game worthy of champions and if the enthu siasm of the large crowd spartan supporters
