occa sions here and even danced the night away here during the early days of this very lovely edifice it is gratifying to watch the good guys win once in awhile eric and marg farrell cer tainly qualify in this regard they are attempting success fully im sure to fully cater to the many diverse require ments of a demanding dining public but rather than review all the dining experiences available at the deer park i will concentrate only on the dinner theatre a nice touch is the separate entrance and foyer areas at the north end of the building this enables patrons in the main dining room to continue enjoying uninterrupted meals while performances are pre sented in the new wing one thing that really impressed us was its size seating is well placed and the accoustics are superb a big tip of the old fedora to wj austin uncle bill for his expert selection of british plays that should keep clien tele entertained during their stay uncle bill with his strong organizing abilities and excellent oratory turned a gala opening into an extra vaganza an honor guard of the kings royal regiment of new york province 1776 dressed in period attire fired three volleys to commemo rate the opening ribbon- cutting and traditional cere monies were handled by town mayor eldred king cathryn and i have attended various openings together for many years but this evenings event is mar vellous salads galore in va rious combinations start off our trip around the immense smorgasbord lobster claws shrimp with tangy sauce herbed chicken pieces all thick and wellcooked a huge hip of beef and other outstand- ing foods adorn the tables white and red wines are place at each diners table and constantly replenished the desserts are rich and eye- pleasing the english trifle and a piece of key lime pie are all i can handle cathryn enjoys a piece of fluffy chocolate cake with whipped topping and a fresh fruit cocktau following this excellent meal uncle bill delivers a very moving and inspirational address introducing each one of us to this new theatre while i do not pretend to be a theatre critic i have attended many plays this evenings presentation of ro gers last stand has us laughing throughout it is well acted and leaves me wanting to attend more of the same at deer park the regular menu has four varied entrees these include sirloin steak with mushrooms and cream sauce loin of pork with mozarella cheese and tomato sauce sauteed breast of chicken with white wine and herb sauce and broiled fillet of halibut with dill butter soup salads and tasty desserts are also
