passing of mrs bertram taun at st michaels hospital toronto she was 79 mrs taun the former alice wright was born in toronto the daughter of addison and mary wright following her marriage she and her husband farmed on the bloomington road between warden and woodbine avenue more than 30 years mr taun died in november 1960 following her husbands death mrs taun moved to main street stouffville where she soon became associated with the congregation of stouffville united church the ucw and the womens institute a particular denomination however proved no barrier mrs taun attended special services and events in all of stouffvilles churches en joying the inspiration and friendships that such associations engendered she also had a close attachment to the stouffville horticultural society and
