chores around her tidy second floor apartment she sews she knits she crochets and when theres something going on at the legion hall shes sure to be found there too mrs johnston speaks highly of the friends shes made within the legion ladies auxiliary and praises the wonderful work they do born nov 10 1890 she marked her ninetieth birthday only last week to celebrate this milestone an open house was held at the silver jubliee club sunday afternoon many dropped in to say hello although born in england she moved with her parents robert and agnes morrison to glasgow scotland at a very early nge later she came to ontario and took up residence in the east end of toronto her husband alexander john ston passed away 25 years ago he was a veteran of two world wars elizabeth is proud of her family that includes one son tom whose home she shares two daughters agnes in walpole massachusetts and marguerite at stroud nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren one sister agnes clarke lives in lockport new york another ann jones resides at aurora elizabeth likes stouffville and the people who live here however she hasnt exactly turned her back on the city either and every once in awhile
