texas on an in vitation from the atletico soccer team by way of reciprocation for the hospitality received when the stouff ville club hosted them in the robby tournament and in joining our canada day celebrations in stouffville on july 1 this year the 13 boys coach assistant coach and manager together with five mothers left toronto international airport on august 26 and returned on september 3 assisted by the tremendous warmth of the texan hospitality the boys quickly became acclimatized to the heat and won their first game 60 on their day of arrival the second day saw rain the first for analytical approach and a very determined effort by the under elevens in a temperature of over 100 degrees they were beaten out of the final 60 by the team who went on to win the tournament 5 6 years of which the club has eight teams a total of 85 youngsters the day included various races and events in which the children showed great enthusiasm and fun was had by all the closing ceremonies were the presentation of ribbons to the winning teams for the days events capped off with the presentation of the mite league trophy which is won by the team with the most points earned
