a growing attachment towards it so much so he plans to put it in tiptop working order hes already given it the onceover and says its in ex cellent shape its value has been placed at something like 2000 what intrigues bob most is where did it come from and how did it get there without someone knowing certainly when it left the noise was enough to wake the dead in recalling the incident jim said the speed at which the youth was running attracted their attention maybe we should sign him up he remembers his son saying seconds later they spotted mrs meakes she was in a bad state jim said close to collapse from trying to catch up the two families are neighbors david he said jumped out of the car so fast he was almost run over as jim attempted to turn around in the foot race that followed mrs meakes home then resumed the search as a family wed often talked about the public not responding in an emergency situation he said never thinking wed be facing one ourselves on park drive they saw the suspect again but he also saw them and hid behind a house they then parked their car and waited thats when it became a real starsky and hutch af fair jim said david ran south to maytree while jim doubled around to main street and waited near the firehall the youth came down the laneway from behind the presbyterian church and jim confronted him he offered no resistance i was angry jim recalled i was determined no one would pull a stunt like that and get away with it i told him he owed the lady an apology and he agreed at that moment an opp cruiser pulled up and the youth was arrested meeting last week prompting the chairman don cousens to call a recess so members could cool off cause of the commotion centred around a motion put forward by the chairman that if passed would have established a committee to evaluate negotiating procedures involving a trustee committee and the various employee groups some felt the teachers should be represented while some others were opposed trustee dorothy zajac considered such a committee essential while craig cribar of newmarket suggested the idea be dropped dr john denison of east gwillimbury poured fuel on the fire when he said he would vote against any motion that suggested the committee should include any of the trustees who served on it before at this point the meeting turned into a verbal free-for- all then chairman cousens stepped in and called a time out on members return it was agreed that the whole matter should be shelved and reconsidered by a committee within the board two killed fiery crash claremont a fiery crash
