crescent stouffville following her passing aug 31 in sunnybrook hospital toronto mrs mcwhinnie the former margaret ribby was born at brantford the daughter of edward and margaret ribby she received her elementary and secondary school education there excelling in athletics margaret mcwhinnie was an ob stetrical supervisor at st josephs hospital toronto then went on to take a postgraduate course at the orthopaedic hospital in new york during world war ii she served as a member of a nurses first aid team margaret and wilf were married in 1942 and moved to stouffville 22 years ago she retained a love of sports including golf tennis and horse racing she also enjoyed playing bridge in 1975 she and her husband took a trip to ireland where margaret gained great satisfaction from visiting the homeland of her parents surviving besides her husband is a son kevin and a daughter jill both of stouff ville the funeral service was in charge of father norbert gignac the pallbearers were frank
