left of north street and nancy darling loretta crescent were presented editors mail cooperation made the day dear jim as chairman of the board of directors of the stouffville family life centre i would like to use this opportunity to thank the town of whitchurchstouffville for the support of the recent world child day i know of no other town the size of ours who has been able to develop such a program around this international year of the child our effort demonstrates that stouffville is indeed a community that takes its commitment to the next generation very seriously and i only hope that we can build upon what has begun in this special year it is impossible to thank personally all who took part in the ac- tivitiesof world child day though the namesofdianekerr and norah mcelroy were the key ingredients but to those who gave of their time those who contributed financially or in providing materials those who transformed the arena into a won derland for children those who assisted in the information session for parents to jacqui morrison for arranging the evening concert to you all a congratulations on a job well done the town of whitchurch- stouffville is better because of of whitchurch stouffville are to be commended on their bold forward look at the ap proach to the town of stouffville i have personally reviewed the study by j h faulkner planning consultants of the teaching staff at dicksons hill will be unchanged for sep tember at summitview- school stouffville librarian helen weatherbee has retired also staff teacher janet mcnicol dorothy ward english teacher at stouffville dist secon dary school is retiring to pursue a career in the business world mary- jane pickup is going to markham high school orchard park school stouffville is losing its grade 4 teacher jan percy ed macdonald grades 5 and 6 and part- time librarian helen weatherbee bud west the in strumental music teacher at st marks school is travelling west to teach in a junior high school at pincher creek alberta sue gibb will teach kindergarten at pine valley and joan corcoran has been promoted to the position of special programs instructor for the board connie dubowitz grade 1 will be teaching at st lukes thornhill i reunion was a success dear jim it was with great satisfaction that we the reunion committee heads watched the enjoyment of students and teachers who returned to stouffville high school on june 23rd after twenty years our numbers were somewhat discouraging but the enthusiasm of the ones attending com- pensated for this we would like to thank you jim for your real interest and hard work and the backing of the tribune with many articles and pictures the reunion could not have been successful without the hard work of ron mercer linda wagg bob and nancy stover john and joan pugh lorraine steckley kim ellis and mike paul there were many people who were not in charge but carried out plans of the committees where would we be without them people like maryanne cathy wendy jean john jim don larry david richard carol sue the high school staff and the janitors a special thanks to all for your time and effort financially speaking a sincere thanks to
