death june 12 at park view home came as a shock to a wide circle of friends mrs pavis the former wahnsia taun had been extremely active within the com munity wherever she could be of help to people- this included the ringwood christian church where she taught sunday school and assisted in the womens organizations she was equally interested in the work of the stouffville united church where she was a member born at utica one of five in the family of john william and mary ann taun she moved to the 5th concession of whit church in 1908 a property thats now the site of whitchurch highlands scbool when a brother bert took over the farm in 1924 she moved to the stouffville area prior to her marriage to the late roy grove she taught school for a period of about ten years following the death of mr grove she married arthur march and lived on burkholder street stouffville when mr march passed away she married rev douglas davis wellknown stouffville united church minister she was 75 wahneita davis was predeceased by three brothers harvey percy and bert taun and one sister mrs dave crosier a sisterinlaw mrs bert taun resides at 115 main street east rev jim carder and rev paul
