land is vested registered owner means an owner of land whose interest in the land is defined and whose name is specified in an instrument in the proper registry land titles or sheriffs office and includes a person shown as a tenant of land on the last revised assessment roll 3 the expropriating authority each owner who notifies the approving authority that he desires a hearing in respect of formed an honor guard outside the oneill funeral home following the service sunday for the late stanley burkholder mr burkholder legion president from 1964 through 1967 passed away nov 10 in scar borough centenary hospital he fought failing health with the courage of a true soldier said branch padre rev jim carder each legion member placed a poppy atop the flagdraped casket as friends of the deceased stood in silent tribute this portion of the service was in charge of veteran rae mcfadden pall bearers were ivan goudie fred castle grant turner bernie tunney donald hodgins and rae mcfadden thanks to all the pleasant customers ive tried to please over the past few years as the asst manager at the a and p store they have proven to me over and over again that stouffville residents are the friend liest and most un derstanding shoppers i have had the opportunity to serve in my twelve years in the food business it is with some regret i leave this town a community that has made me feel so participant in remembrance day parades and bad the honor of serving as branch president during canadas centennial he gave the position the distinction it deserved born at glasgow east of stouffville the son of orvel and mae drewery burkholder be spent 20 years in the toronto police depart ment during world war ii he assisted with the training of troops at camp borden he held the rank of warrant officer later he was employed as a depart ment manager at simp sons for a period of 2v4 years he lived at fenelon falls but always called stouffville home he was a member of spry masonic lodge in fenelon falls surviving besides his wife the former mabel huard is his stepmother marguerite burkholder one son keith of thorn- hill grandsons peter paul and glenn and one great granddaughter theresa the pride of his life two sisters june mrs stuart belamy and norrine also survive jean hammond and friends to host musical concert on wednesday nov 22 jean hammond obrien avenue stouffville will host following surgery his many friends wish him a complete recovery theos meeting a meeting of theos organization for widows and widowers will be held on sunday nov 19 at 2 pm in the markham baptist anne mcclelland dorothy johnson monica collins charles guluckson elaine bisset and joyce watson the community programs consultant sister passes nellie may liberty mother of thelma macdonald of
