this at the service ocl 30 from the oneill funeral home in stouffville mrs bunker died oct 28 in ross memorial hospital lindsay following an illness of about two months while a resident of goodwood her interest and involvement touched every type of community activity she served as president of the united church womens organization in goodwood and was a teacher in the sunday school she enjoyed the great outdoors no matter what the season she loved snowmobiling cross country skiing ice- fishing and gardening oilpainting brought her much pleasure and her completed works will remain a constant reminder of her talent skating was also a recreation that brought her much enjoyment clarence and olive often visited arenas in the area on oldtime skating nights including stouff ville and markham they continued to participate in this sport after building a new home and moving to rr 2 minden just over three years ago mrs bunker the former olive bar tholomew was born north of stouffville the daughter of audrey and martha bartholomew prior to taking up residence at goodwood her home for 30 years she lived at newmarket and altona she had a wide circle of friends besides her husband she is survived by two sons jack of aurora and harold of barrie four daughters faye gleason thornhill caroline mrs edward venn toronto joyce mrs john rox- borough woodville joanne mrs kevin doble sunderland church joe has served many terms as church trustee and usher lulu taught a sunday school class for almost 40 years has held the position of president of the 4 cs ladies missionary society and is at the present time the ladies treasurer she is also a member of the excelsior class and the christian endeavour society joe was the youngest son of a large family of 14 children born to hugh and melinda fockler lulu was the eldest of a family of six born to harry and bertha preston they have 4 children helen mrs norman nigh of stouffville hazel mrs tom bullock of agincourt clarence and bruce both of ringwood and enjoy the company of their14 grandchildren mr and mrs fockler received messages of congratulations from the town of whitchurch- stouffville mr sinclair stevens mp york simcoe prime
