the tribune thursday november 1k8 blueberries 1 0 and 30 lb boxes corn and peas 10 lb boxes cherries 5 1 1 22 lb pails m i i r order now 8843391 editors mail candy was part of our family dear mr thomas i read the letter in the nov 2 issue of the tribune entitled cruelty debate never settled to the person who wrote it id like to make the following comment for it was our dog candy that was caught and killed in the trap our pet was not on a leash how can a dog enjoy its freedom tied up all the time it needs exercise just like we humans the area where the trap was located may be private property however the owner allows motorbike riders to use it and horses are boarded there i also know for a fact that the owner did not set the trap to me our dog was like a child we had her ten years she grew up with us she was part of our family we were all very close to her candy was a funloving pet she was my friend my pet and our watchdog i cant understand why anyone would want to place traps in this area i havent seen a wolf or any other kind of wild animal around that anyone should want to kill i also would not classify the property as a farm only corn is grown there why should traps be set in stouffville were just a little town i wish to thank all the people who wrote in and enquired about candy it showed that many people are concerned over the use of traps most of all i want to
