was the first time the show was run over two days don bernard annual flower show over 350 exhibits seen stouffville one of the most suc cessful flower shows ever held by the stouffville horticulture society took place at the united church last week for the first time ever it was a twoday show with 350 senior exhibits and 22 in the junior classes in all 23 people exhibited in the show considering the dry year weve been having its terrific society president margaret ratcliff said the basement room of the church was full of cut flowers arrangements and garden samples the coffee and cookies provided refreshments for the visitors tops in the show was mrs gordon housser who captured 65 points next was mrs ratcliff with 60 points third in points total was mrs jean barkey linda vague was top junior with 16 points just one point ahead of her sister dianne best marigold prize went to blair housser mrs ada west took top prize in the general class best in decorative classes was mrs cliff burkholder mrs grace pugh had the best basket while ada watts was best new exhibitor i mrs ratcliff said that the society has been experiencing something of a revival a number of younger people are
