provides for the relief of 1970 taxes that are unduly burdensome as a result of a reassessment of lands in the township of whit church in the year 1969 the corporation of the township of whitchurch bylaw number 2091 a bylaw to provide tax relict under the provisions of s 76 1 g of the assess ment act 196869 as amended whereas it is deemed advisable to provide relief from taxes that are unduly burdensome as a result of reassessment of lands in the township of whitchurch in 1969 and whereas it has been determined that applications to the assessment review court for such relief may be made by the persons assessed in respect of the lands described herein whose 1970 taxes are considered to be an undue burden on such lands and whereas the council of the township deems it advisable that relief may be granted up to the maximum amount stipulated herein now therefore be it enacted by the council of the corporation of the township of whitchurch 1 an application may be made to the assessment review court under s 76 1 g of the assessment act 196869 as amended for the cancellation reduc tion or refund of taxes levied in 1970 on the assess ment made in 1969 on the lands described and by the persons named in schedule a hereto which shall form a part hereof 2 the maximum amount of taxes that may be cancelled reduced or refunded on any such applica tion shall be an amount in excess of an increase due to reassessment of 100 or 35 of the 1969 taxes levied on such property whichever shall be the greater which amount for each property is set forth on schedule a read a first time this 15th
