property assessed at 3000 will pay an ad ditional 3675 in taxes this year almost nine mills of the 1225 mill increase over 1969 is attributed to public school costs the rate for county purposes has in creased approximately vh mills while that for township purposes is up only about vi the amount allotted for secondary school purposes is down slightly from 34 to 3338 mills parents with children attending the separate school in uxbridge town will breathe a sigh of relief when they learn that on a 3000 assessment their taxes have decreased by 3978 in that part of the township served by public
