overly excited about the idea you should know that the particular form of life that men have made is not open for exhibition yet maybe some day but not yet when the news first reached our house i must confess we were not inclined to throw a big party to celebrate the occasion in fact i slipped off to a quiet nook and thought about it for a while the thought of it numbed my senses a bit finally i emerged from my solitude revived and ready to press on as before only to be greeted by an egg head friend who also heard about the creation of life with a sly grin he inquired well george what does that do to your theology i was glad that i had taken myself off to think about this new frontier in modern scientific research my inquiring friend frowned a little when i replied nothing nothing at all this new venture in science if it has done anything at all to my theology it has confirmed it since the critic was familiar only with a few of the fundamentals of the christian theology i seized the opportunity to fill a few of the gaps in his thinking it was obvious that the reason for the excitement was that man had created a form of life to this excitement i responded well bill what does that do to your evolution 0 that wasnt the subject we were discussing creation not evolution sorry bill these days when the subject of creation arises it automatically introduces its counterblast evolution i puzzles me why people like bill are so careful to ascribe to man the creation of some perverted form of life while they are content to rob god of his right to the creation of all life and ascribe that right to chance now lets say its true that man has succeeded in bringing about a form of life thus man is a creator imitating his own creator at the beginning did you know that man bears the image of god that is why man creates some people say its time to write a new bible with man at the centre the new bible would have to open something like this in the end man created a hell on earth frankly i prefer to stay with the present bible which opens this way in the beginning god created the heaven and the earth spring wedding for bus transportation from preston lake and lake wilcox
