nor thern border that unless rhere is immediate unifi cation one or more mun icipalities may find it nec essary to provide new po lice ncvommodation which would iiot be in the best interests of future devel opment mr- taylor said if uni fication of forces is under taken members of the various forces involved should be well informed and ipt informed he said salary sched ules and fringe benefits should receive careful at tention esprit de corps is most important in a n e w organization he said adding we are speaking of people being unified and working to gether with a central records system mr taylor said the area force would be informed of any criminal element living or moving intothe area without hav ing to make several phone calls for information and there would be an im proved detective service mr milligan pointed out that in an emcrgencv lime is of the essence and only a year ago during a scuf- lle with the satans choice motorcycle gang a very large force was required he said that where it took several hours to assemble the hundred to hundred and fifty officersat that time unification would permit much faster action the commission believ es that with unification the
