an expert caneweaver and she display ed her skill at the antique show friday and saturday she took the art up as a hobby two years ago a profession thats seldom practiced today staff photo monteith news- advertiser and the reeve of pickering township john williams has crcat- ed concern among some members of council in a recent editorial publisher ronald law rence issued a challenge to reeve williams to out line his accomplishments since taking office jan 1 at a meeting sept 3 councillor arthur king charged that the editorial addressed to mr williams had cast doubt on the efficiency of the council as a whole and perhaps even the entire township he said that members had a right to know the con tents of the reeves reply reeve williams said that the editorial offered a challenge to him and assured council that he had accepted the chal lenge and replied the opinions in the replv he said were his own not only information but statements of fact mr williams said that he and mr lawrence were going to have a sit- down session and the publisher had agreed to take a look into pickering township and see what he feels is right or wrong mr lawrence has many things to take into
