real estate questions and answers question why the high interest rates and who is to blame answer no one is to blame it is the law of supply and demand when money is scarce like the present rates are high and when money is plentiful rates go down accordingly question my husband and i have been looking for a small piece of land in the country maybe an acre or two but all we can find are large farms at todays prices we cannot afford that much land why do the townships restrict the severing of smaller acreages answer the ontario government has just passed a law restricting all land severances big and small unless approved by them so dont be too hard on the municipalities if you have a real estate problem briefly write it down and send it to the york county and dis- trict real estate board 31 ers new packages then the consumer must be told of the advantages of the product the product you eventually see in an ad has taken months maybe years and often millions of dollars to get there does advertising reduce the cost of toothpaste from 1500000 to 793 or course not but without it manufacturers could not orord to invent new products or improve on old ones advertising tells enough people
