saturday september 23 at 230 oclock in st andrews united church markham when cheryl anne monahan daughter of mr and mrs wm h monahan was joined in marriage to peter christ ian reesor son of mr and mrs lloyd c reesor locust hill rev donald parr heard the marriage vows jfpr the double ring ceremony mrs peggy clark was at the organ and mrs w hayes sang the wedding prayer prior to the ceremony and oh perfect love as the regis ter was being signed the bride who was given in marriage by her father looked lovely in a gown which was designed by herself and made by mother it was a floor- length sheath gown of white brocade with jewel ed neckline and long sleeves pointed over the hands the fanshaped train of tiers of gathered lace was detachable and her elbowlength veil of the same lace was caught to a crown of satin and lace encircled with rows of rhinestones she wore white pfiau de soie shoes and carried a cascade bou quet of white mums and peachtoned talisman roses the matron of honor was mrs garry fitzpatrick of pickering and the bridesmaids were miss susan monahan toronto sister of the bride mrs harold wouliings scar borough and mrs stanley durwoodj whitby cousin of the bride they groom were attired in tuxedos and wore white carnation bou- tonniers following the cere mony a reception was held at morgan hall markham where the brides mother received the guests wearing an en semble of horizon blue crepe the full coat and bodice of the dress were covered with ice blue lace she wore an ice blue pic ture brimmed cloche and matching shoes and a cor sage of cream coloured
