shop woodwork ing welding small en gines architectural draft ing night schools are getting more popular and the fees are the most reasonable anywhere for such educa tion there is a five dollar fee for a course offered one night a week t2 hours and ten dollars for the whole course that is of fered two nights a week so for a total of five dol lars a person can get edu cated and trained in a topic he or she likes for the en tire semester of ten weeks if enrolment and attend ance warrant it more ad vanced work will be given in a second semester the night school pro gram registration date is september 20 at both high schools the reason there is no program this year at ajax is that the school is undergoing extensive con struction with a major addi tion a minimum of fifteen students is required to open a class and it may be necessary to combine regis trations from each of the two schools to form a class in certain subjects the courses are primarily intended for adults but day-
