mount al bert service was conduct ed from the lewis funeral home mount albert with interment in mount albert cemetery visitors here mr lloyd turner lloyd avenue welcomed his brother roy here from waterdown conneclicutt and the late dr frank reichenbach the wedding is planned for nov 4th 1967 in st matthews episcopal church st petersburg janis is a graduate of stouffville district high school and received her degree as an xray tech nologist at toronto sick childrens hospital her fiance is an alumnus of waterdown high school and st peters prep school peekskill new york eva elizabeth linton on sept 9 eva eliza beth linton of claremont passed away in uxbridge cottage hospital surviv ing besides her husband mr norman linton are three daughters edith mrs raymond stickwood eileen mrs paul wellman and mildred mrs maurice binstead all of claremont there are five grandchild ren service was conducted on monday from the clare mont baptist church with interment in clareont un ion cemetery a membership mr del jennings right of stnuff ville was singly honored last week when he was presented with a life membership in the royal canadian legion the presentation was made by mr bert lickorish of the stouffville legion branch both are veterans of world war l cadieux studio charter member of lions club stouffville this town lost a wellknown and most highly respected resi dent last week in the pass ing of mr carl eugene boadway following two months of declining health born here nov- 15 1893 the son of isaac boadway and adeline burkholder he had lived in stouffville for the past 40 years other places of residence includ ed toronto barrie and edenvale he was a carpen ter by trade and also oper ated a service station for a time mr boadway loved music and was an active member of the stouffville united church choir he was also a charter member of the stouffville lions club it seemed fitting that he should be spared long enough to attend stouff villes centennial service in the arena july 2 the mass choir of 75 voices was con ducted by his son lome also surviving are his wife the former eva moore a second son allen rr2 markham and one daugh ter mrs virginia malloy of willowdale a brother earl is deceased there are 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild service was held from the oneill funeral home stouffville on wednesday sept 6 conducted by rev douglas davis and rev alan borland interment was in stouffville ceme tery the pallbearers were jim abell bob hassard kenneth roberts gerald acton donald hodgins and ies wilson t mr mrs timothy wees married at moose jaw the wedding of timothy john wees son of dr and mrs w r wees of rr 3 stouffville and miss janet reeva minuk of kamsack saskatchewan took place in moose jaw on august 27 miss minuk is the daughter of mr and mrs morris minuk business people of kamsack bride and groom are both em ployed with the john brown camps in moose jaw the wedding took place in the garden of 1102 graf ton street moose jaw at 5 pm the garden was sur rounded with tall baskets of flowers the civil ceremony was performed by judge ben jamin moore of swift cur rent attendants were penny grosse flower girl of moose jaw and linda faye patterson maid of honor of woodrow sask atchewan the best man was ronald lamb of moose jaw and ushers were roger adams moose jaw and donald minuk of kamsack brother of the bride fiftyfive guests were present at the ceremony and at the garden recep tion immediately follow ing later a wedding din ner was held for twenty- two relatives and close friends at which the toast to the bride was proposed by her brother donald the bride wore a floor- length semifitted dress of white peau de soie with scalloped lace yoke and threequarter bell sleeves also of lace with a full- length lace train her bou quet was of white gladioli and apricottinged rose buds she wore as an heir loom gift a string of pearls from the mother of the groom her maid of hon or was dressed in apricot satin and carried apricot gladioli the flower girl was in eyelet embroidery over apricot satin with a flower basket of the same colors the happy couple left following the ceremony for a honeymoon trip of two weeks to ontario the grooms home and inter vening points shu mr and mrs timothy wees are pictured here following their recent wedding in moose jaw saskat chewan the groom is the son of dr and mrs w r wees stouffville rr3 mr and mrs henry og- den and mr and mrs wil- bert irwin attended the wedding of alvin irwin at renfrew later they spent a few days at expo going on to the east coast st johns newfoundland and home by white face moun tains and lake placid the many friends of mrs chris armstrong will be sorry to learn that she is in the bricrbush hospital following an unfortunate fall down the stairway of her home resulting in multiple bruises two frac tured ribs and severe shock mr and mrs robert moffatt and family of osh- awa had dinner sunday with mr and mrs gord wagg and girls tim wees is well known in stouffville where he attended high school his father and mother dr and mrs w r wees have lived at concession 2 uxbridge township for many years the newly- weds will return to live and work in moose jaw for brown camps recent visitors with mr and mrs l barclay loret- ta crescent were mr and mrs jack waldman and jennifer of montreal mr and mrs roy robin son of ottawa visited
