bruce e hanthorn of claremont and bruce rothney browning son of mr and mrs william browning of orillia took their vows before the rev a e cresswell groups of pink and white gladioli and ferns were massed in front of the chancel mrs jack hill was at the organ and mrs clarence colby of uxbridge sang the wed ding prayer before the ceremony began and the lords prayer during the signing of the register the bride made a pretty picture as she came down the aisle on the arm of her father she wore a full length traditional gown of imported alencon lace feat uring a sweetheart bodice with a scalloped neckline and lily point sleeves the bouffant skirt was styled with a cascade of flounces to the hem and the exquis ite headpiece was a crystal and flower arrangement of matching lace petals edged with seed pearls a self bow held her bouffant veil of silk illusion and she car ried a goodluck horseshoe bouquet of yellow roses and lilies of the valley she was attended by her sister mrs peter voss as matron of honor with another sis ter mrs michael burke and a sisterinlaw mrs robert hanthorn as brides maids they were gowned alike in full length satin sheaths of aztcx gold with an overlay of matching chif ion their headpieces were made of gold lace and gold flowers and their bouquets were tangerine and yellow carnations with gold streamers the best man was peter voss and the ushers were mark wain- wrigbt of whitby and ro bert hanthorn at the reception held in the sunday school room of the church the brides mother received in a blue crepe and lace sheath with matching blue feather hat black accessories and a corsage of pink rosebuds the grooms mother wore a gold suit and hat with matching accessories and a corsage of yellow roses the brides going away costume was of beige crepe with a chocolate brovn lace coat beige accessories and a corsage of yellow roses the motor trip to northern ontario was to an undisclosed destination upon their return mr and mrs browning will take up residence in orillia where the bride who has been with the bank in toronto will continue as a member of the royal bank staff mr and mrs evans ben son have returned from a motor and boat trip to man- iloulin island and other points in northern ontario accompanied by mrs ken recsor they spent the weekend in hamilton with mrs mary gore and son john mr and mrs jack hall with steven and janice en joyed a weekend of camp ing at sibbalds point sut ton mr and mrs george smith and family were din ner and supper guests at the home of mr and mrs ivan taylor on sunday mrs g a carter is home
