chair man of the unionvilie home association when approximately 50 members cf that organization met at ihe kennedy clinic ken nedy road unionvilie on thursday evening mar 9 other officers named al so unanimously were vicechairman keith ken nedy secretary philip colley treasurer mal colm mackenzie direc tors harry boadway rob ert dowse martin mc clos- key and mrs janet patter son a constitution was al so adopted the home association is sponsored by the union vilie council of churches and on mar 9 there was a charter membership of 64 at present the fee is 100 and membership is invit ed the objective of the new association is to estab lish a senior cituens home in the village as a centennial project and members hope to pattern it after the parkview- home at stouffville which was built by the menno- nite home assn of york county and houses more than 60 senior residents we are very conscious that we are not just build ing a building but provid ing a home in which the accent is on living said mr wiseman as he ac cepted the chairmanship we hope to supply special interests he con tinued if the ladies like to mend let them mend it gives them a seqe of usefulness he also ug- gested that local clubs could be of help the horticultural society could set up a wheat ger mination test for each room there could be a canning bee aided by a womens group mr wiseman said the tnionville council
