nel must be expanded to keep pace to cope with this problem and improve the efficiency of depart ment operation a compact municipal centre has been proposed for the east side of main street south of ramona boulevard the site is situated between the present municipal of fices and the new centen nial library if a program in markham village proceeds according to plans various municipal departments will he relocated to improve efficiency of the overall operation an initial move was made last week when bids were accepted on the sale of the police department offices at alain and joseph streets if
