for markham tup centennial project the letter was not signed and there was no letterhead and absolutely no clue as to who or what this poac is however the facts in the letter were correct and the support they ask for a centen nial committee is warranted at mondavs council meeting a deputation of about 75 irate property owners was received and gave council a hard time over the proposed park the only opposing councillor was our mr hoover who was loudly cheered and praised by a great many people who did not elect him the report of the meeting will be found elsewhere in the paper but it might be a good idea to find out why our repre sentative feels so strongly about councils decision and give him some support it is also a good idea to attend one of the meet ings of this council it really shuffieboard on ball j nights there is something i every night at the corner lot wyn gaston who had a scary warning of a heart attack early this month is reported coming along at scarborough hospital but she will be there a week or so yet harold iapp doug and gor don dimma attended a lapp re union at uxbridge on sunday while doris and meredith were off to trenton kenny walton and peter mc cowan ate at camp ahshun- yoong this week mike lillian and bobby dean joined bert and marg stiver for a trailer week end at sibhald point marg and jack walton lloyd clendennen olive macintosh and byrl
