tour of the niagara area first there was a visit to fort george at niagaraontnelake then on to see the floral clock and a very interesting tour of the sir adam k beck power plant- lunch was held at queenston heights after lunch the horti cultural garden school was vi sited where the blossoms and flowers were in- their full array of beauty then they went to see the ca blecar which crosses the niag ara river above the rapids and here they were lucky to see a practise rescue from the gorge below they also saw an am erican boy scout troop on a bi cycle camping trip from here they wentto the falls and tou red the greenhouses there then the rain started so everyone was taken for a bus drive all around duffin island back to table rock house where the girls did some shopping and hoping the rain vould stop so they could take pictures of the j rfaus a few bravei the down- pour hoping the pictures turn i out all right they returned to queenston heights to a picnic i shelter where tne la mothers met them with a delicious hot supper the rain had stopped by now after supper theyre- j turned to mrs kastons home and had campfire indoors due to the beach being very wet they all went to bed after many songs and skits put on j by tne gutaes 1 sunday morning they attend- j ed a church paraae at the unit ed church with some cf the girls attending their own- chur ches after the service they en joyed a barbecue dinner cooked by mrs easton and mrs far- hart after chores ana a rest period the girls hiked to char les daley park along the queen e highway and had supper on the beach there after breakfast on monday morning the girls and their leaders hiked three miles to prudhommes indoor swimming pool where they enjoyed a re freshing two hour swim then a visit to the zoo there when they returned there was a chic ken dinner waiting for them then they all packed their gear ready for their return trip home the cars came for the girls around 230 pm and the goodbyes were said and they started home arriving abt 530 pm very tired and a litle sun burned but with some wonder ful memories of- the joys and pleasures and renewed friend ships gained through this great game of guiding everyone would like to thank those who helped make the trip possible in the past few week several guides have pased their ten derfoot and have been enrolled also several second class tests have been
