hospital in markham and district to call upon our donations were much lower than those of the clinic in pickering surely our friends and neighbours are as interested as those in the sur rounding district it appears that there are per sons who are dubious about re gistering as donors because as one man remarked if you give your name once you are called every time when you are cal led by our volunteer workers and reminded of the date of the next clinic and if you feel you cannot or do not wish to donate it is your option to inform the worker of this fact if you should feel that you wish to have your name removed tem porarily we hope from our files please give this informa tion as there is a great deal of work and time involved in con tacting the previous donors anolher person took offence when contacted and rather than tell the lady who phoned him thatke did not wish to con tinue donating or being con tacted called the convenor who is also a volunteer worker and really gave her what for an other said theres nothing in it for me however such in stances are few and far be tween and we are counting on the continued interest and gen erosity of the people in mark ham and district
