graduated from the university of toronto with the degree of doctor of education bob is at present prinicipal of earls- court public school in toronto and resides with his wife lor raine and three children dan karen and mark in suburban east york bob completed his element ary schooling at ss no 9 ux- bridge where he came under the inspiring teaching of miss alma ward mrs howard haynes he attended fifth class at goodwood school and secondary school at uxbridge high he graduated from tor onto normal school and began his teaching career at ss no 8 east gwillimbury after two years in the rcaf bob retur ned to teach for a year at good wood school along with mrs norman wagg the remainder of his teaching career has been in various toronto schools next september he is to become principal of the new christie street school which is to be the most modern and largest junior school in toronto while his teaching career progressed bob continued his studies at the university of to ronto from which he won a bachelor of arts degree in 1948 and a bachelor of pedagogy de gree in 1952 in the meantime he was granted a high school teachers certificate and a pub lic school inspectors certificate from the ontario department of education bobs thesis for his doctorate was entitled differences in home background between highachieving and lowachie ving gifted children the four hundred page
