kennels and their location was general throughout the town ship he said that many per sons were entering complaints as the dogs proved very annoy ing to other residents he ad mitted that in many cases the dogs were well cared for but this failed to stop them bark ing the officer suggested that there had been 15 additional kennels established in the last year the present township bylaw states that a kennel license will only be issued to a person keeping purebred dogs how ever it is belived that it might take the services of a solicitor to search out the certificates the present fee is 10 but this of the fifty acres of land lying west of west lawn cresc mr chiovitti presented a plan show ing the frontage divided into 100 ft lots each with near four hundred feet depth the plan also provided for a service road at the rear of the lots and a new street running north from the highway just east of the present farm house an extension of rupert st was also indicated which could develop into addi tional residential lots at some future date planning board members ex pressed satisfaction with the in dustrial plan which could pro vide for a number of small plants the owner expressed the view that the munieipaility might be interested in the pur chase of some or all of the lots so that serviced land would be ready for factory builders chairman reg mackay said this would be a matter for council to decide and the plan will be passed on to council for con sideration mr chiovitti said he realized that the town was interested in further residential development until some added commercial or
