that assessment of pickering township come under the direc tion of county assessor gordon hepditch pickering townships reeve sherman scott asked that ths townships assessment depart ment come under the direct supervision of mr hepditch council was informed that pickering townships assess ment had increased by 1600100 last year to 27955380 this year mr hepditch said in the main the increase was caused by raising the assessment on farm lands in the township council was told farms in pickering township south of highway 401 are being assessed at an aver age of 150 an acre county council also turned down a recommendation by its assessment committee that pick ering township assessment commissioner delbert goslin bo hired as mr hepditchs assist ant mr scott said four or five of hold annual
