wedding anniversary mr and mrs j reid and their granddaughter betty ann of wasaga visited with mr and mrs w smetham this past week at a recent meeting of the cemetery board it was decided to hold the memorial day serv ice on sunday june 24th mr and mrs j davies had dinner on sunday at the home of their son mr and mrs s da vies of thornhill miss karen postill entertain ed miss terry white on sunday sunday school lesson lemonville mr and mrs walter gray visited with mr and mrs har old knight and family mark- ham on sunday dr and mrs s s crouch have recently returned home from a vacation in williams burg virginia motoring by way of seaforth and visiting an elderly aunt mrs james mul len returning home via new york where they visited rev dr and mrs j h mccombe sister of dr crouch mrs a evening to attend the ordination service for mr ed mccrea held in the bloor st united church the guest speaker for the evening was dr switzer calgary they witnessed the dedication of two deaconesses six commissioned missionaries as well as the or dination of ten men and two women the group then return ed to the home of rev ed and miss elsie mccrea to enjoy le- freshments and fellowship ex tending
