anniversary of the col church ln markham many changes have taken place through the years the most recent being the renovation and extension of the church building rev orville bell of toronto was the guest preacher for the day in the morning he chose as his sub ject the unique church of christ the sermon dealt with the origin occupation opera- ion obligation and ordination of the church mr bell empha sized the difference between the body of christ and the local assembly a person may be a member of the local church and still not be a member of the body of christ the congrega tion was reminded that the church is ordained to manifest christ all members have a place in the church god places men in his service according to the good pleasure of his will during the service mrs frank pipher was
