margaret both at home a sister jean mrs duncan mcrae of london also survives her the funeral was held on fri day at 2 oclock at the westside united church with interment in the greenwood cemetery the francis burgess of unionville ont and formerly of 22g pickering st toronto in his 65th year son of the late mr and mrs william burgess sr and brother of mrs edward richardson lyla deceased and uncle of william darby of unionville resting at the dix on funeral home markham for service on wednesday at 2 pm interment stouffville cemetery roebuck miss mary nicol roebuck died at the toronto general hospital on sunday sept is 1960 she was a grad uate of that hospital in 1s9s and a sister of senator arthur w roebuck and mrs d h walkinshaw of toronto and prof john roebuck of madison wisconsin the funeral was on tuesday morning at 11 oclock from the a w miles funeral chapel miss roebuck was well known to many of the older church st residents here as she spent many holidays at the home of the late mr and mrs alph hoover westwood hillock pink and white gladioli decor ated st georges anglican church georgetown and white satin bows and white parasols filled with pink and white pin- nochio poms reserved the pews for the wedding guests for the marriage of arvilla ellen di- anne daughter of mr and mrs maurice c hillock when she became the bride of mr bruce forrest westwood son of mr and mrs leonati h westwood of pickering in a double ting ceremony on sunday sept 11 at 4 oclock rev kenneth rich ardson officiated with mr g dekleer as organist entering the church on the arm of her father the bride chose a portrait gown of white pure silk organza over peau de soie the scalloped neckline was framed with chantilly lace fash ioned with long lily point sleeves and torso waistline the very bouffant skirt was ap- pliqued in chantilly lace and sprayed with iridescent baril- lios sweeping into a cathedral train a crown of rhinestones and crystals held her fingertip veil of white silk illusion she wore cultured pearls a gift of the groom the bride carried her ivory prayer book with a white orchid and stcphanotis baby pink sweetheart roses and forgetmenot streamers and white
