layoff at the elliott lake mines mr francis has been searching for work since that time he is a qualified electrician by trade he and his vvife peggy express ed hope that they might be per mitted to reside in their trailer through the winter months they plan to present their re quest in person at a meeting of council nol fil for dogs mr francis suggested that they could possibly move to a trailer camp at whitby or cooksville but the sites were presently booked solid both shunned the idea i wouldnt want to raise a dog under those conditions he said he noted that their home equalled or bettered the majority of per manent residences in the area ho pointed out that recent ad verse publicity concerning trail ers in the town of uxbridge had not helped their plight most people have the idea that we live like gypsies like animals said mrs francis but its not true mr francis said that he had invited the members of council to inspect the premises hut none had ac cepted the majority are sur
